2 New Media Opportunities: UK and Denmark

Greetings BirthStrikers,

A reporter from Denmark and another reporter from Denmark are working on separate stories.

From Denmark:

Dear BirthStrike Movement

I am a journalist at the Danish newspaper Politiken, and I am looking for a young Dane, who has chosen not to have children due to the current state of society. I wondered whether you know of any Danes who are somehow connected to your movement and who could be interested in talking with me about this decision?

All the best no matter what!
Jesper

Hi all – hope you’re well! I am writing to you from a London-based magazine called UnHerd, best-known for our video interviews and live events. Our channel has over 400k subscribers and gained 5 million views last month alone, covering topics of politics, culture and philosophy: https://youtube.com/c/UnHerd I would like to see if someone from BirthStrike might be open to the possibility of joining us for a live event at our London HQ venue on the phenomenon of pro-natalism. We’re interested in getting both sides of the debate on natalist policies and why you think the answer is not to increase incentives to have more kids. Some of our recent live events with Louise Perry, Mary Harrington, Nick Cave, and others on similar topics have done very well, so we think it would be a hit. It’s also a good opportunity to reach a much wider audience of curious people, so would hopefully be beneficial to your cause. Let me know if you’d be interested and we can organise as soon as is convenient, ideally for September. Very best, Florence Read (Producer, UnHerd)

Please contact me if you are from either country and are interested in participating.
